Blind Orbits
Blind Orbits are a music collective formed in Coventry in 2023. They've already enjoyed impressive collaborations with the likes of Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest and renowned Hip-Hop producer Krohme, coupled with heavy radio play in the US, with notable support from Public Enemy’s Chuck D - Blind Orbits are very much a group in the ascendancy.
It was a great honour to be asked to create 2 visualisers to support the release of their debut EP The Time, The Tide. The brief for both visualisers from the band was simple… create my own visual interpretation of each song.
Along with the full-length video content for each track I also created a number of shorter form videos which were used on the group's various social media platforms.
The Time, The Tide
Using a combination of digitised 8mm and 16mm archive film, I created a narrative that evokes a sense of nostalgia, memories of better days, hopefulness and the movement and the preciousness of time.

Reborn
Drawing inspiration from a variety of archive footage, I created my own visual narrative for the song, based on how it made me feel and what I visualised while listening. The use of subways, dark stations, travel and the sense of being watched were the main themes for this video, all underpinned by a black and white visual aesthetic, with the occasional hint of colour to create ethereal atmospheres.
